Sage ERP X3 Process provides businesses with a unique dual approach to moving companies into the world of e-business, one that gives them a choice of technologies with which to extend their business operations externally and dramatically reduce the cost of doing business.

 

The web-native approach makes intrinsic use of Sage ERP X3’s capability of running the application using a standard Internet web browser. This provides significant cost savings since the application can be easily and inexpensively deployed to remote offices or subsidiaries, even under secured access to key business partners for conducting e-business. Further cost and time savings accrue from reductions in maintaining client-based programs and upgrades. Sage ERP X3 can run in either client/server or web-native mode, depending on user selection.

 

The SOA approach faciliates communication with the outside world via published Web Services in industry-standard format (XML, UDDI, WSDL, SOAP). This approach opens Sage ERP X3 business rules and data for seamless connections to web storefronts, trading exchanges and other application systems.

 

For web commerce, Adonix also provides your company with Sage Xtend (sold seperately). Sage Xtend is a powerful toolset connecting Sage ERP X3 to web storefronts without the need for programming, but with built-in customization tools for creating dynamic, personalized websites, retrieving data from the Sage ERP X3 system as it is needed by the visitors of your web site (check the availabilty of a product in real-time, ensure up-to-date pricing, confirm delivery, etc.).
