AmeriQual Group Selects Sage ERP X3

Pittsburgh, PA – June 12, 2006

AmeriQual Group, LLC (www.ameriqual.com), an Evansville, Indiana-based manufacturer and distributor of shelf-stable food and packaging products, selected Sage ERP X3 to consolidate business operations across manufacturing, distribution and accounting onto a single, integrated enterprise-wide platform.

AmeriQual is the largest producer of MRE’s (Meals Ready To Eat) to the United States Department of Defense. AmeriQual provides innovative extended shelf-life packaging products to both the military and large commercial branded food companies. Products are assembled and distributed in flexible pouches, microwavable bowls, trays and glass jars. AmeriQual is currently engaged in producing the millions of cases of MRE’s the U.S. government is using as part of its Katrina disaster relief effort.

AmeriQual will utilize Sage ERP X3 in a mixed-mode manufacturing environment, one that incorporates both process manufacturing capabilities to support their food processing operations as well as discrete manufacturing features for the packaging side of the business.
